Flight Information

TODAY, the Canary Islands, Cape Verde Islands and Morocco receive more than 100 million continental Europeans between them every year, most arriving by air.

And the number of European flights bound for sunshine destinations in the eastern Atlantic continues to grow at a phenomenal rate.

Rarely a week passes without the launch of ‘the latest’ shuttle service to the region’s airports. And as demand continues to spur new departures from UK and northern European airports to the mid-Atlantic’s favourable climes, more planes, carriers, schedules, runways and airports are in the offering.

At least ten international airports across the eastern Atlantic region currently welcome countless charter and scheduled flights on a daily basis. Flight times of between four and six hours from Europe do little to deter passengers from making the short-hop, as do negligible time-zone differences.

The advent of budget airways jetting into the region has also boosted the number of visitors. And as a result, flights to the eastern Atlantic region have now never been more abundant or affordable.

Below is a breakdown of summaries to explain travel considerations for each individual area of the mid-Atlantic property region.
